I began my work as an artist with traditional watercolor painting, and then moved to oils, creating a variety of work including, portraits, landscapes, and some abstracts. Feeling a bit confined, I looked for something that would allow me to give up control and free myself from traditional rules. I found that in fluid watercolor, and, since then, in other media including acrylics and Unicorn Spit.
Initially, my work was on watercolor paper; I then began experimenting with canvas, ceramic tile, and Yupo. Much of the fluid watercolor work is on Yupo, because it promotes an "out-of-control" flow of color. I often use a combination of media.
I have updated this website to include more of my work, including my most recent work with acrylics and Unicorn Spit.
